(May) Student Inquiry in VA National Cemeteries: Honoring Korean War Veterans Through Research
A Veterans Legacy Program Webinar for Educators
The Korean War Legacy Foundation, in partnership with Wreaths Across America, is proud to present a special 90-minute professional development webinar made possible through a grant from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as part of the National Cemetery Administration’s Veterans Legacy Program.
This session will introduce educators to a new series of secondary-level instructional modules designed to honor Korean War Veterans interred in VA national cemeteries. Through inquiry-based research and student-led investigation, participants will learn how to guide students in exploring the lives and service of Korean War Veterans and contribute original research to the Veterans Legacy Memorial (VLM), the VA’s digital memorial platform.
